Cloud maintenance
Regular maintenance of the cloud environment is essential to ensure the security and efficiency of data operations. Cloud maintenance includes not only the implementation of software updates and patches, but also the continuous monitoring of server resources and storage solutions. At BAYOOTEC, we regularly check our customers’ cloud solutions. This enables us to identify potential weaknesses at an early stage or even make suggestions for improvements that can reduce the costs of cloud solutions in the long term.

Why is cloud maintenance important?
Continuous cloud maintenance is crucial for the security and efficiency of cloud infrastructures. Regular updates and patches are essential to close security gaps and ensure data protection.
By managing resources effectively, companies can ensure that their servers and software are always up to date. In addition, real-time system monitoring should be part of a company’s strategy to detect potential problems at an early stage. A well-thought-out backup strategy protects valuable data and ensures that companies can react quickly in the event of an emergency.
By regularly implementing these measures, companies can keep their cloud infrastructure competitive and secure at all times. After all, what could be worse than realizing during an outage that the automatic backups have not been performed?
This is how we work
Cloud maintenance means a lot of monitoring. Depending on the type of cloud, we pay attention, for example, to optimal CPU utilization, available updates, whether there is sufficient storage space or whether failed access attempts are conspicuous.
At the beginning, we draw up a list of points that we work through for each audit. We go through this list together with our customers and also define the intervals at which we check the cloud resources along the list.
If we notice something that can be optimized, we discuss the appropriate steps with our customers and also provide recommendations for action.
Terraform, CLIs or manual configuration?
Our cloud specialists have years of experience with common cloud technologies and support our customers with their knowledge when adjustments at the “infrastructure as code” level are necessary or desired.
Benefit from our cloud maintenance expertise
Over the past few years, we have been able to gain experience with many different customers, from whom we have received consistently positive feedback. This experience enables us to think outside the box and identify faults before they become serious problems.
We also have certifications relating to the Azure Cloud and will continue to expand these in the future in order to offer our customers the best possible advice.
